Jessie Lee Montgomery (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Jessie Lee (Dowell) Montgomery, age 92, of Buffalo, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at CMH in Bolivar, Missouri following a short illness.
She was born September 22, 1929, the daughter of Jessie (Line) and Joe Lee Dowell. She was the fifth of six children. She was saved and baptized on April 16,1954.
Jessie was married to Robert L. Montgomery on October 13, 1947, by the Rev. Henry Long in Phillipsburg, Missouri, and to this union four daughters were born.
Jessie was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Uplinger and husband Stephen of Lebanon, Missouri, Tina Stober and husband Carol of Buffalo, Missouri, Bobbie Weeks and husband Steve of Buffalo, Missouri, and Brenda Montgomery of Springfield, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 in the Reynold’s Chapel Cemetery with Dr. Douglas Earls officiating. Escorts will be Chad Abercrombie, Jeff Abercrombie, Brandon Weeks, Justin Menley, Kenny Ruble, and Stacey Weeks. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reynold’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
