Jimana J. Murray (Hartville)'s Obituary
Jimana (Jimmie) J. Murray was the daughter of Frank and Lenna Fanning. She was born on March 27, 1942 in Safford, AZ. She joined her family in heaven on October 3, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her oldest daughter, April Newton (Wager).
Jimmie married Clint Wager, Jr. July 22, 1961 and had three daughters and one son prior to their dissolution. She is survived by her three remaining children: Amber Meredith (Wager) and her husband, Randy Meredith of Conway, MO, Adam Wager and his wife, Michele Wager (McGill) of Olympia, WA, and Andrea Shifflet (Wager) and her husband, William Shifflet of Grovespring, MO. She had eleven grandchildren: Michael Newton, Corey Williams, Samantha Brakebill (Meredith)and her husband Paul, Shannon Graham (Meredith)and her husband Jay, Brittany Carrell (Meredith) and her husband John, Riely Wager, Jessica Mierisch (Averett) and her husband Eric, Adam Shifflet, Shelby Shifflet, Noah Shifflet, and Hunter Wager. She also had three great-grandchildren: Isadora Brakebill, Evelyn Brakebill, and Lindley Mara. It may seem silly to mention, but if you knew Jimmie, it is an absolute…she is also survived by her animals that she loved with her whole heart. Doody, Josey and Starskey (as well as a host of wild cats) will miss her more than anyone could know. She loved them like her children.
Jimmie had a deep love for God’s beautiful creation. She always rejoiced over God’s bounty when she saw a field full of bailed hay. She grew up around ranchers and her father was a Soil Conservationist so nature was very important to her and she often marveled over the beauty of the earth.
Jimmie will be remembered for her love of animals, nature, family, music, and knowledge. She loved God and Jesus was her constant source of comfort her whole life. She loved people and staying in touch on the phone. She was beautiful, intelligent and never saw a stranger. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts for the rescue of animals (primarily the wild cats living in her back yard) or memorial tree(s) for the reforestation of Coconino National Forest in Arizona.
