Jimmie grew up in Seymour and graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1961. He spent time in Kansas and Joliet, Illinois, and eventually moved back to the Seymour area to make his home. He was an ordained minister and a member of the Old Calvary Assembly of God in Seymour. He preached in several different churches for several years, and worked at Hutchens Industries in Seymour for over twenty years.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and hunting, particularly bow hunting, and he liked camping out on his hunting trips. He loved to play the guitar and sing, and he especially liked to make up silly songs to sing to his grandchildren. He loved his family very much and cherished the time he was able to spend with them through his illness.
Jimmie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and nephew and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and many accomplishments and will forever remember all the good times he spent with us and the memories he created for all his family and friends.
