Jimmy Levi Brown (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jimmy Levi Brown, son of Jimmy and Casondra Rogers Brown, was born November 20, 2005, in Springfield, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, July 14, 2020, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of fourteen years, seven months, and twenty-four days.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roger and Belinda Stewart.
Jimmy is survived by his aunt and guardian, Sharon Wilmoth, of Springfield, Missouri; his mother, Casondra Brown; his father, Jimmy Brown; two brothers, Dillon Brown and Aiden McKee; a sister, Teneice Magers; his maternal grandparents, Ruby Bush, of Stockton, Missouri, and Walter Ed Rash, of Weaubleau, Missouri; his maternal great-grandparents, Darrell and Helen Grimes, of Lebanon, Missouri and a great-grandfather, Donald Rogers of Hartville, Missouri; a nephew, Nicholas Gray; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and was cared for by his paternal grandparents, Roger and Belinda Stewart, for several years. The last four years, Jimmy had lived with and been cared for by his aunt, Sharon Wilmoth in Springfield, Missouri. He was home schooled and Wendy Rhoades was his special teacher.
He loved watching cartoons on television and brought joy into everyone’s life. He was happy and content and had a sweet disposition. He was quite a hugger and had a heart of gold. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nurses, Debbie Elliot, Alissa Powers, and Lisa Sheppard.
Jimmy was a loving son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and uncle, and was a caring friend. We know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A Visitation will be held Monday, July 20 from 2 - 3:30 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, Missouri.
