Jimmy Wayne Hough, Sr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jimmy W.ayne Hough, Sr. was born December 8, 1941 in Indiana to Ulysses and Wilma North Hough. He passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab at the age of eighty-three years, one month and twenty-six days.
He moved with his family to Lebanon when he was young and they settled in the Oakland Community. His family owned and operated Hough Lumber.
Following his graduation from high school, he had a career as a truck driver until he became disabled.
He married Lillie Belle Dethrage and she passed away in 1969.
In addition to Lillie, Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Paul Dean Hough.
Jimmy is survived by two sons, James Hough and his wife Shannon of Phillipsburg, Missouri and Jimmy W. Hough, Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Gary, Cassandra and Parker; two brothers, Bob Hough of Lebanon, Missouri and David Hough of Joplin, Missouri; a sister, June Baker of Plain View, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Jimmy was an avid pool player and loved playing poker. He also enjoyed being outdoors where fishing was his favorite hobby. He was a fun person to be around and always looked forward to doing activities with his boys.
We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made with them.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held Thursday, February 6 at 5 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
A memorial to Claws and Paws has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
