Jo Ann Huett (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jo Ann Huett, daughter of Walter and Georgia Schalk, was born October 2, 1938, in Morrisville, Illinois. She departed this life Thursday, August 4, 2016, in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-seven years, ten months, and two days.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jo Ann is survived by a son, Mark Huett, of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandsons, Casey Huett, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Bradley Huett, of St. Joseph, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Gasconade County, near Owensville, Missouri, where she attended school. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked in the medical field for several years. Later, she worked as a seamstress for a shoe manufacturing company. She retired in 1993, and moved to Lebanon, to be near her son.
Jo Ann was raised in the Seventh Day Adventist faith.
She loved horses, and liked listening to Bluegrass music. She loved animals and was especially close to her dog “Coco”. She enjoyed helping others and being with her family.
Jo Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
