Jo Ellen Bristow (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Jo Ellen Bristow, daughter of Floyd and Donnis Ross Elliott, was born August 16, 1955 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on July 3, 2014 in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-eight years, ten months and seventeen days.
She was united in marriage to Dave Bristow on April 9, 1995 and they have made their home near Mansfield for several years. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd, and a son, Marc Elliott Brazeal. Jo Ellen is survived by her husband, Dave, of the home; her mother, Donnis Elliott; a sister, Christy Cooper both of Mansfield, Missouri; two grandsons, Jack Brazeal and Marc Anthony Brazeal; two nephews, Joey Harris and Michael Carter and his wife, Sara all of Mansfield, Missouri; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She attended school in Sikeston, Dexter and Sweet Springs, Missouri before moving to Mansfield in 1971. She graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1973. Jo Ellen went to beauty school and was a licensed hair dresser for many years. She also worked at Zenith for a few years as well as being a homemaker. Jo Ellen had made a profession of faith in Christ and was baptized at age 12. She loved antiques, flea marketing and made some beautiful jewelry and had many friends on facebook. Jo Ellen was a loving wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will always cherish the many wonderful times we had together.
