Joan E. Rhodes (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Joan E. Rhodes was born January 25, 1952 in Versailles, Missouri to Dayles Wasson and Letha Braden. She passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-one years, ten months and one day.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James “Jimmy” Wasson and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Foster of Lebanon, Missouri and Tina Cundiff and her husband, Bobby of Grandview, Missouri; her sons, Tim Robertson of Branson, Missouri and James Rhodes and his wife, Crystal of Lebanon, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Melva Rodgers of Oak Grove, Missouri; and other relatives and friends.
Joan grew up in the Kansas City area and spent her adult years as a homemaker and taking care of family. She was a compassionate woman and loved and cared for her family very much.
She had a spunky personality and loved giving people a hard time. She was very independent and outspoken, but was devoted to those she cared for. Joan was a fun person to be around and had a good personality and a sense of humor.
Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
