Joann Lynn Noodwang (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Joann Lynn Noodwang, age 57, of Buffalo, Missouri, entered into rest on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born on July 18, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois to William and Arlene (Wicykowski) Vencill. Joann graduated from Lincoln Way High School in New Lenox, Illinois in 1986. On April 29, 1989, Joann was united in marriage to Lowell Noodwang. To this union three sons were born: Christopher, Carl, and Cody. Joann obtained her early childhood development certificate and began working at Kountry Kids in 1998. When the school district purchased the daycare, Joann transitioned and continued working at the day care until her health prevented. Joann was loving, caring, and kind. She treasured each child that she taught. Joann gave her life to Jesus Christ February 6, 2026 in Buffalo, MO. She attended New Horizon Southern Baptist in Elkland, MO. Joann loved her family and spending quality time together. She enjoyed camping and trips to the lake; she was quite a jet skier. She enjoyed painting nature scenes as instructed by Bob Ross. She enjoyed quality time on the family farm; she had a great love for Holstien cattle. She could outshoot any of the boys and was proud of it. Joann also loved the Kansas City Chiefs. Her love and laughter will be missed by her family and friends. Joann was preceded in death by her mother and brother Billy Vencill. She is survived by her husband Lowell, sons Christopher, Carl and his significant other Crystal, and Cody, grandchildren Ella, Layla, and Reagan, sister Susan Rumble, brother David Kubicka, as well as her father Bill Vencill. and numerous extended family members and beloved friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Grace Community Church with Richard Waters officiating. A time of visitation will be held the evening prior from 6-8 pm, at the Cantlon Otterness & Viets funeral home. Joann will be laid to rest at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, Missouri with Brad Evans, Chad Payne, Garrett Grant, BJ Dugan, Curtis Williams, and Don Nevills serving as pallbearers. Arrangements are under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home.
