Joe Dean Crunk (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Joe Dean Crunk was born January 15, 1940, in Lebanon, Missouri, and was raised by his mother and step-father, Ruby Ann Worley and Arlo Sam Korner. He departed this life Tuesday, October 9, 2012, in Cox Medical Center South, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years,
eight months, and twenty-four days.
On April 2, 1984, he was united in marriage to Dolly Florene Richardson, and they shared the last twenty-eight years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Loni Marie Prater.
Joe is survived by his wife, Dolly, of the home; four daughters, Kelley Richardson, Karla Richardson, Mitzi Marcum, and Deana Stewart, all of Lebanon, Missouri; three sons, Zane Richardson, Scott Crunk, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and Joe Crunk, of Crawfordville, Florida; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri, area, and also spent many happy times with his grandparents, near Lebanon, and in Springfield, Missouri. Throughout his life, he worked in automobile sales and along with his step-father, co-owned and operated a new and used car dealership in Lebanon for several years.
Joe had made his profession of faith in Christ and had established his own personal relationship with his Lord and Savior.
In his spare time he enjoyed being with his friends, and going fishing. His family was very important to him and he especially liked having his grandchildren around him.
Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
