Joedd Baldock (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Joedd Baldock, son of the late Don and Elvah (Hayes) Baldock was born on April 6, 1927 in Unionville, MO, and departed this life on May 26, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. At the time of his passing he was 91 years, one month, and 19 days of age.
Joedd was reared and attended school in Unionville, MO. After his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country during World War II. He was united in marriage to Betty Duley on December 27, 1946 in Olathe, KS. They owned and operated a trucking company together, and moved several times before settling in their home south of Buffalo in 1962. Joedd retired in 1996 and spent his time mowing, on his tractor brush hogging, or working on his many cars.
Joedd was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jeffrey Todd Baldock and Terry Lee Baldack; one brother, Robert Baldock; and one sister, Louise (Toots) Guffey. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty; his daughter Tammy Baldock & Helen Hart; and close friend Clyde Shultz and family of Unionville, MO. He also leaves other family members and friends who will all truly miss him.
