John Albert Troglen-Quinlan, age 53, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away Wednesday evening, March 16, 2011 at Citizen’s Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was born June 8, 1957 in Rochester, New York to J. David Troglen and Geraldine Ruth Kelley.
John served in the United State Army. On March 1, 1997 John married Steffenie Marburger in Bolivar, Missouri.
John worked as a RVI Tech at ACTV, Inc. in Bolivar, MO.
John was preceded in death by his mother; Geraldine Kelley.
John is survived by his wife; Steffenie Quinlan of the home, two sons; John Matthew Quinlan of Utah, David Quinlan of Bolivar, MO, one daughter; LaTara Quinlan of Bolivar, MO, two step-daughters; Dariena Applegate of Dunnegan, MO, Diana Vote of Bolivar, MO, his father; J. David Troglen of Costa Rica, one brother; Terry Quinlan of Fair Play, MO, four sisters; Mary Ann Glitzer of Bloomfield, NY, Donna Kalke of Rochester, NY, Julie Glickinbower of Moorpark, CA, Jackie of NV, two grand children and five step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Danny Vance officiating. Musical selections will be “The Dance” by Garth Brooks and “If Tomorrow Never Comes” by Garth Brooks. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am prior to service time at the funeral home under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, Missouri. Cremation will take place, per John’s wishes, following the funeral service on Monday. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dwight Brown, David Quinlan, Brian Dahir, Devon McNeil, LaTara Quinlan, Domini K. Bisher, Phil Berkley, and Terry Quinlan.
