John Joseph Butler (Bolivar)'s Obituary
John Butler was born in Rumford, Maine on April 8, 1951to Nancy and Joseph Doucett. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Alaska.
In March of 1972, John met Bonnie and on August 18, 1972, they were united in marriage, sharing 52 years together.
John was employed with Solar Turbines as a design engineer for 25 years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. John also served in the Army during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football, baseball and seeing all of his grandkids.
John will be remembered for his kindness and generosity.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Joseph; his mother in-law Betty; brother Todd; sister Denise and his grandson Tristin.
John is survived by his wife Bonnie; his six children and spouses; Elizabeth and Douglas Bierwagen, Frank and Michelle Butler, Paula Parsons, Christine and Jesus Ruiz, Michele Lopez, Matthew Butler, Vanessa Butler; 17 grandchildren and spouses; 13 great grandchildren; his brother Russ and his dog, Buster.
