He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda K. (Nivens) Caudle; a former wife, Shirley Murrell; and a sister, Alice McGuire.
John is survived by two daughters, Rhonda May, of Huntington Beach, California, and Julie Foutch, of Rock Island, Illinois; two sons, John Caudle, Jr., and his wife, Casey, and Troy Caudle, all of Lebanon, Missouri; nine grandchildren; his significant other, Elitha Lewin, of St. James, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Brownfield and Falcon areas and received his education there. He then entered the military as a young man, and served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the military, he returned to the Lebanon area where he worked in automobile body repair. He also was employed in the bail bonding business at C.M. Bonding for eighteen years. John had served as a Captain with the Lebanon Fire Department for several years. He had made his home in Doolittle, Missouri, for the last several years.
John had followed the Baptist faith throughout his life.
He enjoyed going to car shows, swap meets, and restoring old cars. He liked riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his 1954 glass-top Ford. He had a delightful sense of humor and was quite a jokester. He also loved his dogs. His family was very dear to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
John was a loving father, grandfather, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
