John was such a a gentleman. I remember his skill at avoiding what could have been a disastrous wreck on old South 5, taking his dump truck to the ditch skillfully avoiding a young driver who stopped to make a left hand turn. He kept his truck on its wheels and the kid never knew how close he came to a terrible outcome. One of a kind, he will be missed.
