John Hall's Obituary
John Deming Hall, son of Gilbert Everett and Winnifred Campbell Hall, was born December 28, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, May 27, 2011, from injuries received in a truck accident, near Columbus, Indiana, at the age of fifty-six years, four months, and twenty-nine days. His mother preceded him in death. John is survived by a daughter, Barbara Schmitt, and her husband, Robert, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Dustin Hall, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Devin Keathley, and his wife, Sarah, of Weatherford, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Robbie, Kimberlin, Tyler, Jared and Xavier; his father, Everett Hall, of Columbia, Missouri; three brothers, Jay Hall, of Kiefer, Oklahoma, Kevin Hall, and his wife, Darcy, of Columbia, Missouri, and Loren Hall, and his wife, Danne?,of Dixon, Missouri; two sisters, Kerry Hall, of Belleview, Missouri, Linell Kingsford, and her husband, Brad, of Pocatello, Idaho; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, the State of Kansas and in Iberia, Missouri, where he graduated from high school, in 1973. He made his home in the Lake of the Ozarks area, moving to the Lebanon area in 1989. Throughout his life, he managed several pizza restaurants before beginning to work as a truck driver. He had owned his own truck since 1988, and was currently working for Magnum Truck Lines. John was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lebanon. He had a caring heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. In his spare time he loved being outdoors where he liked camping, riding his motorcycle and watching the wildlife. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs Football Team and enjoyed attending and watching their games. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. John was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.
