John Hartwig's Obituary
John R. Hartwig, son of Clarence Bernard and Gloria Elizabeth Tegner Hartwig, was born, May 2, 1949 in Madison, Wisconsin. He departed this life, Friday, January 13, 2012, at his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-two years, eight months and eleven days.
On July 28, 2001 in Laurie, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Diane Lynn Anderson. They had a very loving marriage of eight years until her death, November 30, 2009.
He was also was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters Sandra and Brenna Hartwig.
Survivors include his daughters, Kathryn ?Katie? Hartwig of Amarillo, Texas and Deeanna ?DeeDee? Pollock of Pampa, Texas; step-daughter Christyanne Borchardt of Amarillo, Texas; step-grandson Chandler Borchardt; two brothers, Chris Hartwig and wife Shirley of Alamogordo, New Mexico and Chris Hartwig and wife Laura of Lodi, Wisconsin; a nephew Chris Hartwig of Madison, Wisconsin; a niece Amy Doyle and husband Randy of Sheridan, Wyoming and other relatives and many friends in Missouri and Wisconsin.
Jack owned and operated Action Roofing of Camdenton, Missouri. He was known by his friends and employees as a hardworking, honest man who would help anyone.
He will be missed by all who knew him. We can take comfort in knowing that he is with his beloved Diane and in the arms of the Lord. He was an amazing, loving and compassionate husband, father, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Greenview Elks Club from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or Blue Moon Sanctuary.
