John "Bob" Highley (Bolivar)'s Obituary
John Robert “Bob” Highley, age 78 of Bolivar, Missouri departed this life on Saturday evening, April 26, 2014 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.
Bob was born on August 11, 1935 in Carlinville, Illinois to Oscar Carl Highley and Beatrice Ina Stewart.
Until retirement, Bob was an over the road truck driver. He attended the New Life Church in Bolivar.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Beatrice Highley; wife, Eva Lee (Lindstrom) Highley; wife Elizabeth Jane (Crawford) Highley; son, John Robert “Bobby” Highley II; and two sisters, May Garst and Marcella Vance.
He is survived by his two brothers, Charles Highley and his wife Linda of Elgin, Illinois and Edward Highley and his wife Carol of Oak Brooke, Illinois; daughter, Paula Stevens of Independence, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Charles Highley Jr., Sheryl Larson, Eugene Highley, Chris Highley, Dawn Ziol, Elizabeth Coleman, Amanda Jackson, Michael Highley, Steven Highley, Barbara Highley and Orvile Highley; step-daughters, Cheryl Bradshaw, Rachel Bradshaw and Beth Doorn.
