John Inskeep's Obituary
John Wayne Inskeep, Jr., son of John Wayne, Sr. and Martha Louise (Horton) Inskeep, was born March 16, 1969, in Lawrence, Kansas. He departed this life Friday, June 8, 2007, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty-eight years, two months, and twenty-three days. On February 25, 1991 he was united in marriage to Kimberly Suzanne Kellogg and together they have spent the last sixteen years. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and a cousin, Tim Gibler. John is survived by his wife, Kim, of the home; two daughters, Misty Dawn Inskeep, and Tabitha Lynn Inskeep, both of the home; a son, Tony Lucas Inskeep, of the home; his mother, Martha Lucas, of Arvin, California; three sisters, Mary Ann Grady, and her husband, Ken, of Phillipsburg, Missouri, Barbara Lynn Rabideau, and her husband, David, of Hartville, Missouri, Linda Wilder, and her husband, Bill, of Lebanon, Missouri; seven nephews; two nieces; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born in Kansas while on a family trip to his grandparents. He spent his whole life in Southwest Missouri including, Springfield, Hartville, Cuba and Lebanon. He was very adventurous, loved telling jokes, and was an entertainer. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing video games with his daughters. John was a wonderful husband and father who loved spending time with his family, and was loved by all who knew him. We celebrate his life and will cherish the wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Hartville. Burial will be in the Durbin Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri.
