John was always there with a smile and a handshake. You always felt better after saying "Hello" to such a wonderful friend.

Annabelle and I are very saddened to hear of John's passing. I have fond memories of him from my childhood in the First Christian Church. Our deepest sympathy to all his family and friends. Annabelle and Jim Bohannon, Westminster, SC.
John's passing reminds me of a time that as growing up. My parents would allow me to walk from my grandparent's store to go "downtown". There was a day that I was able to walk to Reese Pharmacy, for a gift for my mother. As usual, John greeted me, and I found a nice gift for my mother. Of course, I could only say that I needed to charge it, and of course it was ok. I truly appreciated the opportunity to stay in touch with John and Bonnie over the years. Although we have now lost them both, I'll never forget them!
I am so sorry for your loss.. He was a amazing man. I enjoyed the short time I got to know him. I felt like I always walked away with some form of knowledge from him. It was wonderful. He will be dearly missed. He often gave the best advice! I will miss our talks and laughs.
