John Allen Simmons (Bolivar)'s Obituary
John Allen Simmons, age 55, of Fair Play, Missouri, passed away at his home, on February 7, 2016.
John was born on January 31, 1961 to George and Imogene Bernice (Henson) Simmons.
He worked at Poor Boy’s Tree Service, until he retired, after working with them for 18 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Imogene; and one brother, Leslie Gene Simmons – Dunnegan.
John is survived by his wife, Susan, of Fair Play; step children, Max Dunkle, Richie Dunkle, Todd Johnston, and Lina Johnston; three step-granchildren; brothers, George Earl Simmons, of Fair Play, and Bobby Ray Simmons, and wife Lonez, of Pleasant Hope; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
A memorial for John will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 2:00 pm, at the Harvest Assembly, in Fair Play.
Cremation rites are under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home, of Bolivar, Missouri.
