John P. Trujillo (Lebanon)'s Obituary
John Paul Trujillo, son of Maximo S. and Lucrecia Montoya Trujillo, was born July 21, 1938, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and departed this life Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty years, two months, and sixteen days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and a sister.
John is survived by his former wife, Claudette Gangloff, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Priscilla Grosso, of the State of California, and Dorothy Trujillo, of Los Angeles, California; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in New Mexico and then entered the military as a young man. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army and was stationed in California. He lived in Hawaii and in the State of Washington for awhile, and then made his home in California for several years. He had made his home in Missouri for the last sixteen years. He had worked in various endeavors through the years, including as a chef, construction worker, and as a certified scuba diver.
He liked working in his garden, loved animals, and once rescued a bald eagle. He possessed a fiery disposition, had lots of spunk and always did things his way.
We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
