John W Vance (Camdenton)'s Obituary
John William Vance, son of the late Francis and Dollie (Head) Vance, was born on November 1, 1938 and departed this life on July 23, 2022. At the time of his passing, he was eighty-three years, eight months and twenty-two days of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Juanita Rowden, John Vance and Roy Vance.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Vance; three children, Randy & wife Theresa Vance, Scott & wife Nila Vance and Donita and husband David Wiss; one sister, Kay Rowden; five grandchildren, Brett, Bradley, Jennifer, Jonathon and Channel. He also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, who will truly miss him.
John was raised in Montreal and later graduated from Richland High School. Following his graduation, he owned and operated his own semi-truck line with his wife, Clairnell. He was later united in marriage to Patty Kleindienst on February 17, 1980 and together they shared forty-two years of marriage.
John made a profession of faith and was a member of Buffalo Prairie Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School.
In his spare time, he loved to build furniture, especially picture frames and quilt racks for Patty.
He was a loving and a caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2022 in Buffalo Prairie Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Buffalo Prairie Cemetery, Montreal. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m., prior to the service, in the church.
