Johney Dean Weaver (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Johney Dean Weaver was born September 18, 1952 in Lebanon, Missouri to William Carl Weaver and Alice Ada Elliott Weaver. He passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 in his Lebanon, Missouri home. At the time of his passing, Johney was seventy-one years, eleven months and eight days of age.
Johney was a lifelong resident of Lebanon and on April 10, 1970, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Tena. Together they raised their wonderful children and shared over fifty-four years of love and happiness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tena Weaver of the home; his daughter, Della Mae Miller and her husband Mark of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Johney Darrell Weaver and his wife Penny and Clifford Paul Weaver, all of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Dustyn, Kirsten, Sage, Michael, Savannah, Kylee, Bryan, Jasmine and Zachary; eight great-grandchildren, Kenleigh, Hudson, Canyon, Shepherd, Jace, Cain, Lincoln and Harrison; two sisters, Wanda Anderson and her husband John of Marshfield, Missouri and Melva Ray of Lebanon, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Frankie, Carl Wayne and Raymond; and his sisters, Carol and Rita.
Johney was a hard worker and was a truck driver for several area boat companies in Lebanon throughout his career. He retired from G-3 Boats.
Johney was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Watching them grow-up and attending events they were involved in brought him so much happiness.
He was a joyful man with a great sense of humor. He was easy to get along with and enjoyed being with his family and friends. Johney also liked entertaining his family and friends by playing his guitar.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, his family was the center of his world, and he took great joy in creating lasting memories with them. He will be missed but the stories of Johney will be shared and cherished for years to come.
A service/visitation for Johney Dean Weaver will be Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established to the family and donations may be left at the funeral home.
