Jonda Rae Boudonck, daughter of John and Dona Ott Rumley, was born November 17, 1961, in Creston, Iowa. She departed this life Tuesday, November 23, 2010, in Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Peters, Missouri, at the age of forty-nine years, and six days.
On January 9, 1981, she was united in marriage to Greg L. Boudonck, and to this union one daughter and two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jonathan Boudonck; and a sister, Kelly Rumley.
Jonda is survived by her loving husband, Greg, of the home; a daughter, Amy J. Boudonck, of O’Fallon, Missouri; two sons, Emmanuel L. Boudonck, of Ballwin, Missouri, and Eric J. Boudonck, of Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren, Elijah, Gianna, Peyton, and Madison; a sister, Pam Hall, of Osage Beach, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Iowa and Indiana and then moved with her family to Nebraska, when she was a teenager. While living in Nebraska, she met and married Greg, and they made their home and began raising their children. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her family, Jonda also worked at Taco Bell for a time. Later, the family moved to Lebanon, Missouri, where they made their home before moving to O’Fallon, Missouri, a few months ago.
Jonda had professed her faith in Christ and attended First Freewill Baptist Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed watching cooking shows on television and liked anything to do with food and cooking. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed caring for her grandchildren. She had a very pleasant disposition and always had a smile.
Jonda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a kind and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
