Jordan Farr (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Jordan Kneeland Farr, born May 12, 1994, just 17, was fierce, quiet, stubborn, competitive, passionate, determined, fighting to be first and the best always with a quirky sense of humor. He had an invincible exterior, but nobody was fooled. He was a quiet storm, a vicious tempest at times, but a heart full of spontaneous love. Even though he was the biggest antagonist, he rooted for every underdog and was a protector at heart. He was a friend to everyone. As a son he broke our hearts and then filled them with joy. As a brother, he laughed with you or laughed at you. But was always ready to fight for his family, or go out on a new adventure with them. He was so much more than a brother; he was our friend. As an uncle, he had immense pride and responsibility over his little nephews and nieces, he was their best playmate and gentle protector. He strove to outdo the rest in every way. This made him an exceptional football player and wrestler; a natural athlete honed through years of brotherly “instruction.” His coach aptly said, “Jordan had a great shot as a wrestler and in life, and he usually shot straight to the heart!”
He won the final race: he beat us all to Heaven. Our pain is overwhelming, but by faith our hope is greater. We rejoice in Jordan’s victory in Christ and the prize of Heaven, even though we mourn the great hole that he left in many hearts.
He is survived by his parents, nine brothers, two sisters, five sibling in laws, nine nephews and two nieces, his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandmother and countless uncles, aunts and cousins. We rest completely in God’s incomprehensible grace and sovereignty, trusting His heart for those of us left behind.
