He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from high school there. He joined the United States Air Force and served his country faithfully for twenty-one years. In 1975, while Joe was stationed in the Philippines, he met and married Adelina, and they made their home in various locations while Joe was serving in the military. They eventually retired to the Falcon, Missouri area in June 1991, and Joe worked at Fort Leonard Wood for several years.
In his spare time he enjoyed doing woodworking projects. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed having time with his grandchildren. His favorite saying was, “Family is everything!”
Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his sixty-five years.
