Joseph Arthur Livezey (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Joseph Arthur Livezey, age 92, Bolivar, Missouri passed away Thursday afternoon at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility.
Joseph was born on October 1, 1920 in Peru, Indiana, to Joseph Elbert and Mary Ann (King) Livezey. During high school he volunteered to serve in the Army during WWII. After the war he re-enlisted into the Air Force and served over 20 years before finally retiring. While serving he married Maudie Dell Hyde. From this union two children were born; Sandra, and Derek. After retiring Joseph worked for a while at International Equipment, but loved to spend his time reading, farming, and most of all fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Ann Livezey; and his wife Maudie Dell Livezey.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Kay Livezey, Bolivar, MO; One son, Derek Joseph Livezey, Fair Play, MO; Two sisters, Madonna Roberts, Bolivar, MO, and Amy Myrtle Fisher, Kidder, MO; One brother, George Robert Livezey, Okemah, OK; Three grandchildren, Michael Livezey, Tiffany Livezey, and Ryan Livezey.
