Joseph Mayo (Hartville)'s Obituary
Joseph Lionel Mayo, son of Joseph Lionel and Jenny Catherine Blondeit Sarrazin, was born September 4, 1956 in Inglewood, California. He departed this life Friday, November 29, 2013 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of fifty-seven years, two months, and twenty-five days.
On July 3, 1976, Joe was united in marriage to Donna L. Primm, and together they have shared the past thirty-seven years.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, of the home; his daughter, Natalie Washburn and husband Donnie of Hartville, Missouri; grandchildren Joseph (Alex), Zachary, Cody, Sam, and Savannah; two sisters, Betty Coenhour of Lancaster, California and Lucy Gilmore and husband Dino, of Lancaster, California; a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Joe spent his younger years living in California. He worked for several years as a truck driver. He moved to Grovespring in 1984 and later to Hartville in 1991.
Joe was a member of the Ozark Harley Davidson Owners group and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
In his spare time, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, riding in his truck with his dog “Sugar” and playing “Mafia Wars” on Facebook.
Joe was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
