Joseph Aaron Morris (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Joseph Aaron Morris, 82, was born on April 15, 1942, and died on Sunday, February 2, 2025, surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Joe was born in Nebraska to Lyle and Agnes Morris. The family moved to Missouri in 1959, and he graduated from Weableau High School. He married the love of his life Dedia (Crawford) in 1961. Joe served in the Navy until 1964. He drove a truck for Kraft foods for 30 years, he was proud of his 300 million safe miles. After retirement he spent a lot of time in his shop building and creating masterpieces.
His stories, wisdom and humor will never be forgotten.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Mike and Jeff and his precious granddaughter Bailey, who he missed every day since 2004.
He is survived by his wife Dedia, children Tim and Kim Boatwright, Troy and Michelle Morris, and Kevin and Kristine Stockton. His grandchildren, Blake (Brittney), Kyra (Payton), Gavin (Katelyn), Korby (Heather), Garon, Brock, Grayden, and Brenna. Three great-granddaughters, Braelynn, Hayven, and Bentlee, and he was anxiously awaiting three more great grands this year.
There will be a Celebration of Life held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Joe and Dedia’s home, 266 South Killingsworth, Bolivar, MO 65613. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Robinson Cemetery, PO Box 122, Collins, MO 64738.
