Joseph Noah Broeckelman (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Joseph Noah Broeckelman, son of Richard Broeckelman, III and Kendra Savant Broeckelman, was born May 3, 1999, in Lake Ozark, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in St. John’s Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of twelve years, two months, and two days.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Kendra Broeckelman, of the home; his father, Richard Broeckelman, III, of Stoutland, Missouri; two brothers, Anthony and Andrew Broeckelman, both of the home; a sister, Paige Broeckelman, of the home; his maternal grandparents, Mary and James Risinger, of Shelbyville, Texas; his paternal grandparents, Mary and Richard Broeckelman, Jr., of Stoutland, Missouri; his paternal great-grandmother, Mary Ann Broeckelman, of Lebanon, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He lived most of his life in the Stoutland and Lebanon, Missouri areas, and had attended Stoutland Schools. For the last year, the family had made their home in Shelbyville, Texas, where Joseph completed the sixth grade.
Joseph had attended Patron Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Texas.
He was a typical boy who enjoyed fishing, playing video games, swimming in the lake, climbing trees, and camping. He had a fascination with rocks and liked finding and collecting special rocks. He also enjoyed watching his brothers play, and visiting with his cousins. He had a kind and gentle spirit and was very good with animals. He loved his family dearly and looked up to his older brother.
Joseph was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, and was a caring friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
