Joy Chernekoff (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Joy Juanita Chernekoff, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2016 in her home outside of Tin Town, Missouri. She was born in Rayford, Oklahoma and lived most of her life in California.
Joy moved to Missouri 6 years ago and spent the rest of her days with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband Mickey Chernekoff precedes Joy in death.
Joy spent most of her life helping others. She was a teacher’s aid for many years. She loved playing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, singing church hymns and listening to Elvis Presley. If Joy wasn’t spending time with children, she wasn’t happy. Joy is survived by her daughter Betty Jane Gray and her husband Paul Gray of Bolivar, MO; Grandchildren Brandi Mitchell and her fiancé Aaron Ingalsbe Sr. of Tin Town, MO, Ginger Huerta and her husband Juan Huerta of Bolivar, MO, and Erik Gray and his husband Aaron Gray of Springfield, MO; Great grandchildren K-Lin Meadows Gray, Everin Gray, Percilla Gray, Izabella Huerta, Khloe Huerta and Heaven Newman of Bolivar, MO and Alysia Murphy Ingalsbe, Zayden Ingalsbe and Aaron Ingalsbe Jr. of Tin Town, MO.
Nana, you will be missed dearly and loved every day that you are away from us. Until we meet again, we love you.
