Joyce Barlett's Obituary
Joyce Elaine Cline Barlett, daughter of Harry James Cline and Janey Gertrude Prock, was born December 31, 1937, near “old’ Macomb in Wright County, Missouri. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, one month and one day. On September 10, 1954, she was united in marriage to Freddie Lee Barlett and to this union five children were born. Freddie preceded her in death on October 17, 2007, after fifty-three years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret Rhoades. Joyce is survived by two sons, Rick Barlett of Ava, Missouri and Randy Barlett of Macomb, Missouri; three daughters, Cindy Morrow of Houston, Missouri, Janie Garrison of Hollister, Missouri, and Tammara Ann Rawlings of Macomb, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Ritter of Leeton, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Joyce spent twenty years working along side her husband while he served his country before retiring in1974. After retiring, she spent her time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved doing embroidery, quilting, crocheting and gardening. Joyce will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday February 6, 2010 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Mansfield. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until time of service under the direction of the Holman- Howe Funeral Home Mansfield, Missouri. Return to top
