Joyce Barlett's Obituary
Joyce Elaine Cline Barlett, daughter of Harry James Cline and Janey Gertrude Prock was born December 31, 1937 near “old’ Macomb in Wright County, Missouri. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-two years, one month and one day. On September 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to Freddie Lee Barlett and to this union five children were born. Freddie preceded her in death on October 17, 2007 after fifty-three years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret Rhoades.
Joyce is survived by two sons, Rick Barlett of Ava, Missouri and Randy Barlett of Macomb, Missouri; three daughters, Cindy Morrow of Houston, Missouri, Janie Garrison of Hollister, Missouri and Tammara Ann Rawlings of Macomb, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Ritter of Leeton, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Joyce spent twenty years working along side her husband while he served his country before retiring in1974. After retiring, she spent her time with husband and children and grandchildren.
She loved doing embroidery, quilting, crocheting and gardening.
Joyce will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Joyce Barlett will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Feburary 6, 2010 in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Mansfield, Missouri. Burial will follow in the Mansfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield.
