Joyce Henry (Humansville)'s Obituary
Joyce Fern Henry, 79, of Humansville, MO passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Joyce was born on December 28, 1938 in Kansas City, MO to Clarence and Dovey Gunderson Woodrome. While growing up and living in Kansas City, Joyce worked as a drugstore clerk. Later in life, she moved to Humansville, and stayed at home to raise and take care of her family.
Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Aubrey.
When Joyce wasn’t with her family, she enjoyed painting, a hobby she had developed over the course of her life. While she was able, she used her time participating in her church activities with the Community of Christ Church in Stockton. She also enjoyed watching TV dramas, and particularly police dramas.
Joyce held a special place in the hearts of those around her and will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Guy Henry of Nevada, MO, as well as her children; Lora Hendrick of Humansville, MO and Albert Reiman of Humansville, MO, and her granddaughter, Aubrey. She is also survived by her sister; Nancy Sipes, Grace Sanders, Martha Case, and Rose Painter.
Joyce is preceded in death by her sister; Marion Meents and Lillian Clemens.
