Joyce E. Maidment (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Joyce Elaine Maidment of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 in Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri. She was born September 23, 1940 in Harlan, Iowa to Wayne England and Mildred Shaw England. At the time of her passing, she was eighty-two years, eight months and eighteen days old.
She grew up in Iowa. She was married to James Maidment. He preceded her in death, as well as her parents.
Joyce had a deep, personal faith in God. She enjoyed writing poems and bird watching. She worked as a banker in the loan department. She also liked to go fly fishing and enjoyed going to Bennett Spring State Park after she moved to Lebanon around thirty years ago.
She is survived by her four children, Sharr Ford and his wife, Elizabeth of Springfield, Missouri, Clark Ford of Springfield, Missouri, Candy Perry of Harlan, Iowa and Tomi Webber of Council Bluffs, Iowa; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a wonderful, caring woman who loved her children and grandchildren very much. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her and will cherish the memories they had the opportunity to make with her.
