Judith Roosa (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Judith Ann Roosa was born September 14, 1947, in New York City, New York. She departed this life Thursday, October 25, 2012, in her home, near Stoutland, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years, one month, and eleven days.
On July 28, 1990, she was united in marriage to George E. Roosa, and they shared the last twenty-two years.
She was preceded in death by a son, T. K. Rinehart.
Judy is survived by her husband, George, of the home; a daughter, Joanna Roosa, of Riverside, California; two sons, Joe Ray Rinehart, of Drasco, Arkansas, and Paul Rinehart, and his wife, Penny, of Nebo, Illinois; six grandchildren, David, Kristin, Kayle, Colton, Alexa, and Ryan; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in New York City, and continued to live there until she was in her twenties. She then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked at the Tropicana and Whiskey Pete’s Casinos for several years. She made her home in California for five years, and then moved to Missouri, where she and George made their home in the Stoutland community. Since moving to the Lebanon area, Judy had worked at Price Cutters and then as a customer service representative at Smitty’s for several years.
She loved children and was known as the “bubble lady”. She also enjoyed dressing up as a witch every Halloween. She liked playing games and spending time with her family and friends. She possessed a cheerful disposition and was always happy and full of life.
Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
