Judy Schultz's Obituary
Judith Ann Schultz, daughter of Roy and Pearl Humphrey Mace, was born July 15, 1940, in Kansas City, Kansas. She departed this life Tuesday, June 27, 2006, in Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years, eleven months, and twelve days. On May 30, 1958, in Bethel, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Leroy “Roy” F. Schultz, and to this union two daughters and three sons were born. Her parents preceded her in death. Judy is survived by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Roy, of the home; their children, Donald Schultz, and his wife, Jeanie, of Green Forrest, Arkansas, Melinda Williams, and her husband, Todd, of Basehor, Kansas, Lynette Jackson, and her husband, Rick, of Osage Beach, Missouri, Steve Schultz, and his wife, Michelle, of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Brad Schultz, and his wife, Camille, of Linn Creek, Missouri; twenty-two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Clark Mace, of Kansas City, Kansas; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Kansas City, Kansas area. After she and Roy were married, she attended nurses training and they then moved to Leavenworth, Kansas. In addition to being a devoted and loving homemaker, Judy also worked for Dr. Mills for many years. Eventually, she and Roy moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, where Judy worked at Windsor Estates in Camdenton until retiring. Judy was a member of St. Joseph’s of the Valley Catholic Church. She was a meticulous housekeeper and enjoyed cleaning and keeping organized. She also liked collecting family photos. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Chapel, Camdenton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2006, in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations to the American Lung Association may be made through the funeral home.
