Judy Ellen Yarbrough (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Judy Ellen Yarbrough, daughter of the late Lyle and Gladys (Speck) Steele was born on October 13, 1944 in Grand Island, NE, and departed this life on October 11, 2018 at her home near Louisburg, MO. At the time of her passing she was 73 years, 11 months, and 28 days of age.
Judy was raised in Rockville, NE. She graduated from Rockville, NE High School and Grand Island, NE business school. She worked as a printing press operator for several companies over 20 years, including Chief Printing in Grand Island, NE, Cottey College in Nevada, MO, and Empire Gas in Lebanon, MO. Her love for animals, lead her to a career raising Yorkie and Maltese puppies. After high school, Judy married William Weaver and had one daughter. She later married Alan Yarbrough and helped raise one son and two daughters. They met at a square dance and quickly became partners. They were married at a special square dance and party. Judy lived in many locations between Nebraska and Missouri, until settling on a farm outside of Louisburg, MO. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and casinos, but mostly enjoyed spending time with family and her kennel.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Gladys Steele; one brother, Dale Steele; and a grandson, Brandon Casey. She is survived by her husband Alan of the home; one son, Joe & wife Tracy Yarbrough of Buffalo, MO; three daughters, Ginger & husband Scott Lewis of Bates City, MO, Rhonda & husband Gary Casey of Olathe, KS, and Tammy & husband Keith Jennings of Warsaw, MO; one sister, Lois & husband Ray Franek of Creighton, NE; seven grandchildren, Jessica Steffes, Trever Yarbrough, Shelby Smith, Becka Obernuefermann, Joshua Casey, Ashley Sloan, and Kayla Marks; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was very much loved and will be extremely missed!
