Julia Edler (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Julia Claudine Spidle was born on December 31, 1936, in Polo, Missouri. The 7th of 9 children born to Alva Raymond Spidle and Lila Margaret Louise Guffey. From Polo, the family moved to Independence, Missouri then to Kansas City. She later lived in Ritchey, Flemington, Collins, and then in Bolivar where she resided up to her death. She attended James Grade School, Northeast Junior High School, and Senior High School in Kansas City. Julia accepted the Lord while in Kansas City at the age of nine. Later at the age of twenty-two, she and son Billy were baptized together in the running water of Shoal Creek in Ritchey, Missouri. Since moving to Bolivar in 2010, she worshipped with the wonderful loving people at Bolivar Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, three brothers; Harlan Cecil, Paul Marice and Alva Deloyd, five sisters; Ida Maurine, Carol Roselee, Zannah Merle, Edith Evolyn and Ruth Wyvon, four husbands; William Coats, Jimmie Frazier, Leroy Schaefer, and Henry Edler, and two sons; William Raymond “Billy Ray” Coats and Jimmie Allen Frazier, Jr. She is survived by three daughters; Margaret Lynn Frazier Henson of Lebanon, MO, Julia Marie Frazier Stephens of Schertz, TX, and Lela Sue Frazier Franse of Flemington, MO, 10 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She had plenty of love for all the big family God had blessed her with.
