Julie Anne Allen (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Julie Anne (Byrnes) Allen, longtime resident at Cedarhurst of Lebanon Assisted Living, passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of seventy-six years, four months, and twenty-two days.
Julie was born on March 27, 1947, to Edward and Kathleen Byrnes. She spent her grade school years in Idaho and graduated High School in Holtville, California, class of 1965. In 1969, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Chapman University in Orange, California. She married Don Allen the same year and they moved to Lebanon, Missouri, in 1975.
Julie and her husband owned several businesses in Lebanon including Elderly Things Antiques, Allen’s Linens, Allen’s Cleaners, and rental houses. She was a founding partner of Realty Executives of Lebanon. She was also active on several boards including Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Lebanon Arts Foundation, and Philia.
Julie is survived by her husband, Don; two sisters, Marilyn Mitchell and her husband Delvin, and Nancy Brady; and nieces and nephews.
Julie loved giving parties and all her friends are invited to a remembrance party on August 25th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Cedarhurst in Lebanon, Missouri.
