Julie Sien (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Julie Ann Sien, daughter of Gerald A. and Myrtle I. Randolph Inman, was born October 24, 1941, in Red Oak, Iowa. She departed this life Friday, February 8, 2019, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-seven years, three months, and fifteen days.
On October 4, 1959, she was united in marriage to Virgil M. Sien, and to this union one daughter and one son were born.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Julie is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Virgil, of the home; a daughter, Cynthia Arnold, of Falcon, Missouri; a son, Dwayne Sien, and his wife, Angie, of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brittany, Makayla, and Derick; two brothers, James Inman, and his wife, Barbara, and David Inman, and his wife, Renae’, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Ellen Schaubroeck, and her husband, Maury, of Russellville, Arkansas, and Linda Sien, and her husband, Glen, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Iowa, and then moved with her family to Laclede County, Missouri, when she was a young child. After she and Virgil were married, they made their home near Lebanon and began raising their children. Julie was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, and also worked for the H. D. Lee Company for twenty years. She then helped with the family lumber business for the rest of her life.
Julie had made her profession of faith in Christ and was an active member of Sleeper Pentecostal Church. She loved her Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible.
She liked taking care of her yard, and enjoyed going to yard sales. She liked collecting angels and had an ever growing number in her collection. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren.
Julie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
