Julie Wooley's Obituary
Julie Rebecca Wooley, daughter of Charles Daniel and Della Joan Day Wooley, was born December 18, 1965, in Arlington, Texas. She departed this life Saturday, August 25, 2007, in her home, near Competition, Missouri, at the age of forty-one years, eight months, and seven days. Her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents preceded her in death. Julie is survived by her parents, Dan and Joan Wooley, of Competition, Missouri; four brothers, Steven Wooley, of Salem, Oregon, Timothy Wooley, of Mission, Kansas, Stuart Wooley, of Turlock, California, and Andrew Wooley, of Pleasant Grove, Utah; five sisters, Robin Moeck, of Johnson City, Tennessee, Valerie Briseno, of Boise, Idaho, Alison Rojas, of American Fork, Utah, Jennifer Smith, of Show Low, Arizona, and Heather Haight, of Olathe, Kansas; a number of nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. She was born in Arlington, Texas, and then moved with her family to Corvallis, Oregon, Monett, Missouri, and Mount Grove, Missouri, before coming to the Lebanon area. For four years, she worked in the St. Louis Temple, but most of her life was spent at home with her family. Julie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lebanon. She loved going to church, where she liked singing in the choir and was President of her Sunday school class. In her spare time she enjoyed doing craft projects, especially counted cross stitch items, playing games on the internet, working puzzles, cooking, and organizing recipes. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. Julie was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and niece, and was a caring friend to many. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2007, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lebanon. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
