June Calhoun's Obituary
June Etta Calhoun, daughter of James Richard and Bertha Pauline (Barlett) Turley, was born June 30, 1946 in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, August, 21, 2007 in Cox Medical Center South at the age of sixty-one years, one month, and twenty-one days. On February 11, 1963, June was united in marriage to Rex Calhoun and to this union one daughter and two sons were born. She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Rex, on April 22, 2003; and an infant son, Cecil Ray Calhoun. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Kay Wallace, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one son, Randy Calhoun, of Mansfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Leanne Brown and her husband, Lance, Brett and Brandon Calhoun, and Rachel Wallace; one great-grandson, Caleb Brown; her mother, Bertha Turley, of Mansfield, Missouri; one sister, JoAnn Murray; five brothers, Jim, Kenneth, Carl, Bobby and Rick Turley; as well as a special friend, Arthur Allen. June spent all of her life in Mansfield, where she attended school and worked at various factory jobs. In her spare time, June enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family and friends. June was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Mansfield. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield, Missouri.
