June Davis (Hartville)'s Obituary
June Bolian Davis, daughter of Homer A. and Arlena Garner Bolian, was born June 21, 1925 in Wright County, Missouri. She passed away at Hartville, Missouri, and went to her eternal home on November 11, 2013 at the age of eighty-eight years, four months, and twenty-one days.
On March 3, 1943 she married Lloyd Davis and they were blessed with two daughters. June lived most of her life on the family farm in Wright County. However, she and Lloyd lived for several years in Kansas City, Kansas where she worked for the J.C. Penney Company. She was a devoted homemaker who loved to cook and share food with family and friends.
After her husband passed away in 1978, she continued to live on her farm until October 2002, when she moved to the Gasconade Neighbors Apartments in Hartville.
In early adulthood, she received the Lord as her Savior and was baptized. For many years she has attended the Cope Free Will Baptist Church and taught Sunday school. She lived a dedicated Christian Life and was always ready to express how good the Lord was to her. As a part of a family quartet, she sang at many funerals throughout her lifetime.
June is survived by her daughters, Joan Lawler and husband Lavon of Kansas City, Kansas and Joyce Robertson and husband Dillard of Odessa, Missouri; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
June was a very giving, unselfish person, and her family and friends will miss her prayers and faithfulness.
