June (Kidd) Henslee (Mansfield)'s Obituary
June Kidd Henslee was born in Norwood, Missouri, on November 27, 1926, and passed away August 15, surrounded by her son, daughter and family.
June married Bobby Henslee in 1944, having three children, Bobbie, Jim and Bryan. Living in Mansfield, Missouri, until 1964 when they moved to Liberty, MO and lived out their lives.
June was Valedictorian in high school; she worked at Tobin Hamilton Shoe Co. in Mansfield and at AT&T in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, until her retirement in 1986. Later she did volunteer work for the Red Cross and the Clay County Elections Board.
June took up quilting in 1989.  After a few lessons and a lot of self-teaching, she became an expert quilter and had amassed a lot of 1st place and Grand Champion awards from the many competitions her quilts were entered into.
June was preceded in death by her parents Oscar & Myrtle Kidd; 2 brothers, Dale and Kenneth; a sister, Maxine; her husband, Bob; and a son, Jim.
She is survived by daughter Bobbie (Charlie) Inmon of Billings, Missouri; son Bryan (Peggy) Henslee of Liberty, Missouri.  June also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
