Aunt June was the prettiest shinyest lady I've ever seen.. inside and out. I hope I can learn to live a little more like her every day. So beautiful with her love of God and her love of life. I miss you Nana.

June was a really good friend of mine - it has to be 8 years now. We had a good ol' time together, loving and caring for each other. We both love the Lord all the time. Our friendship was really strong lately. She was the strongest person I have ever known. She has my book of poetry in her heart always. I think that June needs that right now. I sure love her a lot. I am much obliged to her going up toward Heaven in peace. She really knows that I am her famous Western writer.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. June was a wonderful lady. I enjoyed our talks
June was always smiling, and had a cheering greeting for everyone. RIP dear June.
What a beautiful lady inside and out. Many great memories I have to cherish of this lovely lady.
Many good memories of the great times I had with June when we pastored at Hartville.
She was a fun person to be with. I still remember and laugh about some of the stunts we pulled.
My sympathy to the family.
May God surround you with His peace and wonderful love as you walk through the days ahead. Knowing if we remain faithful we too shall attain eternal life and shall see our loved ones again.

June has been a big influence in Gary and my lives. She was Pastor at Evening Shade Assembly of God Church at the time when Gary received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost while he and I were dating. She participated in our wedding September 23, 1967. She was a frequent Sunday lunch guest at my in laws house. Hobart, Ressie, and Gary all attended church there while June May was Pastor. She was a positive influence to many in the community and would do anything to help others. Prayers for her family and friends for comfort and peace during their time of grief. I am thankful that she was a part of my life. Barbara Hurley
I have read " The Little House "books to Miss June and Miss Ruby, then Miss June and Cathie for 3 years now. She was always a joy and dressed up pretty. She knew everyone at the nursing home and would always tell them hello as they passed. She will be greatly missed. God has an angel back.
