I will always remember the talks we shared and the wisdom or humor or crazy checkers skills he always brought to the table.
Junior hardly ever let anything get the best of him. If it did, it certainly didn't last long before he figured it out. I remember during the ice storm in '07 when many of us wound up at his place to stay warm. He had inflatable mattresses there, and with no power they seemed nearly impossible to inflate. Junior left the room for about 20 minutes, and managed to come back with a contraption made of duct tape, PVC pipe, and a gas powered leaf blower. It looked like a big mosquito, but just a couple of minutes later we had two very full air mattresses. I will never forget him grinning from ear to ear and saying, "Now that's how a feller gets things done!". That is just one of the many examples of the kind of man Junior was. I hope to be able to apply some of his many lessons to my own life. Junior I hope you knew just how many lives you made a difference in. I will miss you very much.
Sincerely,
Dale Hobbs

Sure will miss your hugs, between you and Jeff don't know who could tell the biggest stories, We will all miss you. My prayers for Theresa, Angie, and Scott and the rest of the family in this time.
Jr. always shared a smile and a hand shake. He definitely spoke his mind and was quick to share a story or give his opinion. He was a respected man in his family and viewed as the rock. He was loved by his children and adored by his grand children. I don't remember hearing any unkind words spoken between us. He was a huge believer of family and church, he loved hearing good music and seemed to light up when his family came together for any reason. I know he will be missed. Condolences to Angie, Scot, Teresa and the entire extended family. Special hugs to Jaime, Jen, Kayla, Leigha, Samantha, Jaylyn, Lil Jr, Raven, Kinsley my grandson Kobi, and my sons, Dale and Chris who have also shared in your loss with his passing. My thoughts and prayers for comfort are with all of you. May you all come together to grieve, heal, laugh, and rejoice with great memories of a good man. Love from Deb & Ellis
