Lucy R Williams, Coffey, Gifford
I graduated from Halfway High School in 1986. Mr. Roweton was the principal at school. He and my mom were good friends. I remember he gave me a pretty black dog named Hershey. During my senior year I dropped out of school 2 or 3 different times. The last time I dropped out, there was about 30 days of school left. My mom got me back in and thankfully, I got to graduate. I had to study my butt off if I wanted to graduate. If Mr. Roweton hadn't been the principal I wouldn't have got to graduate. I never got to thank him for what he did. I would like to say, Thank you Mr.Roweton!
