Justin Keith Blair (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Justin Keith Blair was born to Ben and Kathy (Swearengin) Blair, in Springfield, Mo., on February 17, 1979. He departed this life for his eternal heavenly home on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
Justin was born and raised in Halfway, Mo., where he lived close to many relatives and friends. His school friends from kindergarten through his senior year remained his best friends into adulthood. During high school, Justin played baseball and basketball and was affectionately known by everyone as “Fat Dog.” After graduating from Halfway High School in 1997, Justin went to work for O’Reilly Auto Parts in Buffalo, and later in Bolivar. He then went to college and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Missouri State University. There he found his passion for selling insurance.
In 2008, Justin started Justin Blair Farmers Insurance Agency in Bolivar. Even though his agency was in one of the smaller towns in Missouri, Justin was continuously one of the top producers in the state, and even the nation. He was able to travel the country for different Toppers, Championship, and President Council Awards that he earned by being one of the best agents in the country. Justin had also recently started farming and had many rental properties.
Justin was raised at Tin Town Missionary Baptist Church where he was saved on a Tuesday night in July of 1998.He then joined the church and was baptized by Elder Chris Jackson. Because of that night, and a peace that passes all understanding, Justin now rests in the arms of Jesus for all of eternity. He would often talk about the members of Tin Town and held them in such high regard for praying for him. In 2004, Justin joined Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivar where he remained a member until the time of his death.
Justin married Mary (Andrews) in January of 2004. To this union were born his pride and joy: Jaylee Marie (10) and Judson Monroe (7). You did not have to talk to Justin long to know his world revolved around his children. They adored everything about their daddy and loved spending any time possible with him. Jaylee loved to go on Daddy-Date Nights with Justin, which usually involved painting, sushi and ice cream. Jud would follow Justin anywhere on a 4-wheeler or a bike and loved going to the farm with him more than anything. Justin’s entire face would light up when he saw his kids. They truly were his everything.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandpas, Monroe Swearengin and Kenneth Blair. He is survived by his children: Jaylee and Judson Blair, and their mother Mary, all of Bolivar; his parents Ben and Kathy Blair of Bolivar; his brother Jason (Darla) Blair of Urbana; his sister Kristy (Scott) Reynolds of Polk; his grandmas, Darlene Swearengin of Halfway, and Mary Blair of Buffalo; three nephews: Jordan Edge and Ben and Sam Reynolds, and one niece: Jessica Willis. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
